Primary Authority with Essex Trading Standards means you will receive assured and tailored trading standards advice through a single point of contact for all Trading Standards regulatory advice and support. You will receive assured compliance advice recognised by other regulators ensuring consistency along with a detailed analysis of your policies and procedures. An inspection plan, instructing other regulators on how to inspect your premises can be provided if required.
The benefit of Primary Authority is that you only have to deal with one local authority, meaning you can cut red tape, save time and money and get on with growing your business.
Available to single outlets or multiple premises across the UK, all businesses are welcome to apply.
How do I apply?
Choose your Primary Authority partner for your Trading Standards regulatory support. You do not need to be based in Essex to apply. If other regulatory support is required, such as environmental health or fire safety regulations, you are free to select an additional partner.
